Working on a project for my photography class at IUS… the assignment is to create a diptych (basically one large image that incorporates two individual photos.)  These images should relate to one another and tell a story.  One should focus on shutter (motion) control and the other will regard the cameras aperture (and depth of field.)

The first set of photos here are actually from tonight – experimenting with light painting and human models.

The last 4 images are from last night.  One is a picture I took of myself holding a bear and card, while wielding a flashlight to help light the scene with a slow shutter speed (15sec).  The other three, I painted the scene (chair and pillow) with light… really like the overall feel of these photos.



Still lot to do for the project, and edits to make to the pictures, but let me know what you think. 🙂
